"College Girl" (Extended Club Mix)

Sometimes we all have to once in awhile Google our names and see what we come up with? I did... and I stumbled across this site that had my name and song title in their link. So with curiosity I click the link only to be very surprised and flattered that a guy named DJ Fred did an extended club mix of my song "College Girl"! I was like, WOW unbelievable?! So I sat back and listed to it and l was surprised it was a chill and well mixed dance version of the song. I liked it! However, I can't find this DJ Fred anywhere? So to this mysterious DJ Fred that's out there, I thank you for jibbing up my track. I'm impressed and flattered! God Bless.

New Music Video - All Around The World

Update time - so here we go! By way of an amazing blessing, I received a call from my good friend Anthony Rudolph (Film/Video Director). He offered to create a treatment for my next music video. I met Anthony 2 years ago, we were trying to get together to shoot a video for my "Alright" single that I released in October of 2010. Nonetheless, with some scheduling issues it never happened. Of course without hesitation I accepted to do this video and it was time to put some more music out there. It would be an amazing artistic collaboration for the two of us to work together. But, there is a "but" in this equation... I thought to myself... "Hey! What song am I going to shoot with?!" Feeling suddenly reluctant and a little worried. I headed towards my crate full of music and lyrics from the past and there I stumbled upon a set of lyrics from a song called; "All Around The World" .

After reading through the lyrics, it seemed fitting to record this song as a single and to shoot a video for it. It's about the world, the one you and I live on, and what I felt was right to do was express the state of how I hope the world will one day turn out to become. All for the betterment and the peace it deserves to have, that we deserve to have.

Tsunamis', tornados, earthquakes, catastrophes and the despair that I've been reading about and seeing on the news these days, got me inspired. And so I made a call to my producer and good friend Chris Wilson. I said; we gotta make this happen! Chris was on board and I thank God for that. I had this urge deep in my soul that spoke to me. It said; you've got to do your part to spread this message. You have to contribute to the efforts of creating peace in this world. Whether it be little or a big step forward in the right direction, I want to give back through artistic expression. Surely I can only hope that it would be enough? You see the world is pretty massive for me to do it all by myself - seems impossible. However, I'm pretty optimistic so I think once I get this video shot and the song set for iTunes. Then I can only hope that my supporters will help me campaign the message, which I'm working on conveying to others out there. I think the only thing I would hope for is that everyone who hears the song and checks out the video will send the link to a friend or two.
That's the #1 goal here, spreading the message.

For now, I'm very elated that I get this chance to do something greater with my music. Making sure this song serves a greater purpose. I will keep you posted on the video release date and the single release date as well. Thanks for hanging out - till next time everyone!

Sabrina Vargas - Music Reviews

It's always wonderful to hear your listeners tell you what they like about your music! In advance, I thank you all for the time you gave me simply just to take a listen. I'm truly appreciative of all your support! Since I'm not the greatest at talking about myself, I thought it might be better if you heard directly from my supporters! Hope you are all well and in fantastic spirits?! Till next time!

Soulfully Sweet!
By Nikki Nixx (iTunes Reviews)
Sabrina Vargas' self-title lp is an outstandingly exceptional album that surpasses all of my expectations. This album has rich jazz tones and smooth sounds that keep you wanting more. Sabrina stays true to classic R&B with her sexy sultry voice. I feel in love with her upbeat track "U Know It", it's so upbeat and fun. Buy this album, you won't be disappointed!!

She brings a sweet yet potent mix to muscle trks. like: "How U Make Me Feel", "U Know It", & "College Girl" Sabrina Vargas has that star quality & definetly knows how ta' bring it on home.Whatever y'all do, don't let this lady be tha' one U slept on!

Absolutely WonderfulExceptional!

This girl rocks. Not only is her music wonderful, kinda jazzy and at the same time a touch of the blues, little R&B, but her message about the positive self image about women, rarely does an artist touch me like Sabrina did. Buy this cd... it is worth every penny you spend.

In the current world full of recession, chaos, and uncertainty, it's nice to come upon a musician who's like a ray of sunshine in your day, and that ray of sunshine is Sabrina Vargas. As corny as it may sound, this woman's voice evokes relaxation and happiness.

Sabrina's self-titled debut album features songs like "How You Make Me Feel," a latin-groove infused guitar-focused song penned by the artist herself. You can't help but close your eyes and relax. "Dragonfly" is another original that reminds me of being younger and driving in my car in the summer with the windows down. Her voice just brings you to a comforting place.

Sabrina's newest single release, "Alright" has the funkiest groove and if this isn't in the dance clubs soon, music just won't make sense to me anymore. I'm literally chair-dancing as I type this! You can hear her new single on her site at myspace.com/sabrinavargas.

Sabrina is a Los Angeles native, and is an independent artist doing things on her own terms. Straight from her website: "At the end of the day there is simply one thing that Sabrina will continue to accomplish; and that's to bring the joy of music, lyrics, song, and sound into the lives of many and she hopes it will bring her fans...happiness!" Well I'm here to tell you, Sabrina, it does.
